Apiary Workers Required 2016

KIWI BRIANíS HONEY near Iron Springs, (M.A 112004 RGE RD 202) AB, is seeking to hire 2 permanent, full-time Apiary General Farm Laborers (NOC: 8431) starting as soon as February 1, 2016. Wages starts at $12.00/hr. Accommodations are available for all positions. All applicants must be willing to work with both leafcutter and honeybees, be in good physical condition, and be able to work in a team environment. Some evening, night and weekend work will be required. Having a valid driverís license will be considered an asset. Apiary General Farm Laborers (NOC: 8431) must quickly develop a basic understanding of beekeeping to assist beekeepers with hive management, building and repairing bee equipment, placement/pick-up of pollination equipment, and honey harvest /extraction/processing. Beekeepers Required for 2016

KIWI BRIANíS HONEY near Iron Springs, (M.A 112004 RGE RD 202) AB, is seeking employees for the 2016 season. Apiary Technician Noc: 8253 (6 positions; starting at $14.25/hr) and Apiary General Farm Workers Noc: 8431 (6 positions; starting at $13.25/hr) and General Farm Laborers (4 Positions; starting at $12.00/hr) needed full time (45+ hrs/wk) for February 1 2016 through November 16 2016. Some evening, night and weekend work will be required. Accommodations are available. All applicants must be willing to work with both leafcutter and honeybees, be in good physical condition, and work in a team environment. Having a valid driverís license and the ability to speak English will be considered an asset. The Apiary Technicians (Noc:8253) must have a minimum of 3 seasons of full time experience in a commercial apiary, have the ability to supervise staff, have knowledge in commercial hive management for pollination, honey production and disease diagnosis including mite threshold monitoring. Apiary General Farm Workers (Noc:8431) must have a minimum of 1 season full time experience in a commercial apiary, and have basic knowledge to assist beekeepers with bee hive management, building and repairing bee equipment, placement/pick-up of pollination equipment, and honey harvest /extraction/processing. Farm Laborers do not require any experience but must want to work with bees, be in good physical condition and have the ability to work in hot, sweaty, fast paced environment.
